Onwards and downwards!

Wow, this week I’ve had fantastic results. Lost 4lb and got slimmer of the week. But more importantly I got slimmer of the month!!! I couldn’t believe it!! I have lost 9 and 1/2lb in 3 weeks. So it’s not even a full month, but I still managed to grab the award 🙂 So last night we had a treat from the Indian (within my syns of course) I got a Chicken Dhansak which is either 10 syns, or 10 an half. But they’re the only syns I had for the day so I am still on track. Just need to up my speed foods by adding more vegetables to my meals an I’ve cracked it 🙂

One of my favourite meals is the SW pulled pork. This is syn free and I have it sometimes with SW chips, some veg, or rice. I may even have a McCain jacket potato. But whatever I decide to have, it’s a very filling meal. Might post the recipe a bit later on if I have time. But I love this meal, Alex enjoys it as well, but Oliver won’t eat it…… So when we have this, we treat him to the chippy where he has sausage and chips. After all, I don’t want him losing weight 😛 He eats everything else that we give him, just not this one.

So what else has been happening….. I decided to order the new kettleworx 8 week rapid evolution set. As I’ve said before, I love kettlebells, so to incorporate it into my weekly workouts and help tone up, I decided to take the plunge and order it. This DvD claims that all you need is 20 minutes 3 x a week and you’ll tone up and lose weight. In the pack I got a meal planner, but I’m gonna continue following SW as its working for me and I’m enjoying following it. I also got a workout schedule saying which DVDs to do on what days which isn’t that hard to work out, but it helps that it’s there. So Sunday is the day that I’m gonna start this, and I’ll write here to say how it’s been. I ordered the 10lb weight rather than the standard 5lb one that comes with the set. As I was using this in the kettlebell classes at the gym. So already I have upped my game.

Other than that, Oliver started puddle duck swimming classes on Saturday last week. He loves going swimming, and I want him to be more confident in the water so I thought they were the classes that suit him. Maybe in the near future, Jessica will start as well, they can start from birth, but I’m gonna wait a couple of weeks and then maybe start her after Easter.

So, onwards and downwards for the week ahead. Not got too much planned, just hopefully a fun week with my family 🙂
