1lb is 1lb

So I attended the Slimming World (SW) group this morning and I have lost 1lb. Slightly disappointed as I have followed plan all week. Even on Valentine’s Day, sure we went out for a meal but we went to Nandos which is completely within the syns allocated. And to make sure I didn’t go overboard I had no syns on the Sunday.

However 1lb is 1lb and I’m glad it’s off rather than on. So things I’m going to change for this week…. Up my super free foods. Probably even chuck a few super speed foods in, (can only help). Also up my water intake and probably have a few cups of green tea as they say this speeds up your metabolism. And mine needs a good sharp kick.

I need to plan my foods, stick to doing my shopping online so I’m not tempted by the offers. Plus it helps keep my stress levels down. There’s nothing worse than finding a recipe you want to try and you can’t find that one item. I’m the worst person for this, ask my other half, but I throw a right strop 😛 So I’d rather someone else find the stuff I need and then my stress levels stay nice and low 😀

Oliver starts his speech therapy lessons again next week, I need to see if they can move his lesson back a couple of hours. Kettle bell classes are at 9.30 on a Friday, an they’ve arranged his lesson for the same time. And realistically, that is probably the only kettle bell class that I could attend. Unless I go to ones in the evening. But that means my other half putting them to bed 😛 So I’ll see if I can change his lesson time. If not then I have the Jillian Michaels shred it with weights Dvd and my own kettle bell to do at home. But I’m sure I’d much enjoy a class. Time to dig out my heart rate monitor 😛

So for next week, I’m going to drink more water, up my super free foods which are pretty much fruit and veg, drink green tea and continue counting all syns and stick with the plan. I’m hoping for a 2lb loss next week so I’m hoping I achieve that 😀 After all we don’t plan to fail, we fail to plan!
